Introduction to Amy Leslie, Famous Drama & Theater Critic

Amy Leslie's life was unconventional, yet came from rural midwestern roots. Her parents likely would not have predicted her future of rubbing elbows with theater stars, a famous author and being heralded as a media queen in her New York Times obituary. Yet she did all these things and more within the long life living through the American victorian period, documenting the 1893's World's Fair in Chicago and writing her way through the early 20th century in a full life that completed her destiny just before World War II.
